Professional Dilettante

Originally trained as a classical coloratura soprano, Sigra has broadened her scope to include producing experimental pop music, silversmithing, entomological taxidermy and the management of the independent literary magazine Detritus from the Salon des Refuse.

Musically, Sigra is a founding member of the MQBS collective, the brain behind hyperpop inspired performance experience Lady Esque, and half of the pop-metal duo Frozen Charlotte. She is also the live bassist for multiple bands as well as a mononymous artist in her own right.

As a writer, Sigra has published poetry and prose in publications including Pile Press, Coffee People and Kindergarten Magazine. Her first chapbook, 1-800-TRUTH, was published via Salon des Refuse in May 2022.

As a visual artist, Sigra has found success in multiple mediums. She is the creator of the webcomic Pine Overcoats, as well as a silversmith and taxidermist, skills that she showcases primarily through her studio 27 Bones.

Fascinated by a wide array of things, the main artery of Sigra’s work is an endless love of learning and creating. She has countless ideas she hopes to bring to life in many mediums, and aims to cobble together all of her avenues of work into one cohesive life.
